Am I required to prepare minutes?

Supervision SMSF will supply annual minutes for your SMSF each year which details; allocated member income, investment strategy acceptance, contributions, appointment of auditors and tax agent.

It is recommended that you as Trustee prepare minutes for your SMSF if you embark on broad investment themes under your investment strategy.  It is not necessary to include every share purchase that you do, but it is important to note how making this investment decision will affect your investment strategy.  For example if you are purchasing a high growth asset instead of a low growth asset with high income, you should document how it will impact your SMSF’s investment strategy and why the trustee is making this decision.

Supervision SMSF will assist you to create a minute in record time.  As per all of your SMSF documents, we will make them available to you either on the portal or via email.
