When do I pay my annual tax liability?

Tax is due when your return is due to be lodged, so you can delay the payment if your return is completed before the deadline.

For example, if your SMSF Tax Return deadline is the 15^th of May, any tax payable is due on that date.  Any refunds will be paid by the ATO electronically in accordance with their payment standards (paid directly to your SMSF bank account).  Instructions are given in your signing pack on how much is due and when it is due by.  Supervision SMSF will also include an ATO payment slip in this pack.
